Zainab Ibrahim is the Feminist Knowledge, Learning and Publications Officer for the Asia Pacific Forum for Women, Law, and Development (APWLD). She is a feminist activist and researcher based in Sri Lanka and most of her experience over the past 18 years has been in research, documentation, writing and editorial work, primarily on issues of social justice, gender equality and women’s rights. Zainab is a core group member of the SANGAT South Asian Feminist Network, and a trustee of The Collective for Historical Dialogue and Memory in Sri Lanka. Zainab holds an MA in Development Studies from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, India.
